R. A. LEVINSON AND ASSOCIATES

R. A. Levinson and Associates was founded in 2001 by Robert “Bob” Levinson, following a distinguished career with the FBI, DEA, and other government service. Bob built the firm as a private investigations and reputational risk consulting practice, applying his expertise in intelligence, national security, and problem-solving.
In March 2007, Bob was kidnapped by Iran, later becoming the longest-held hostage in U.S. history. In 2008, R. A. Levinson and Associates was administratively dissolved by the State of Florida as its Principal was being held by a foreign government. Thirteen years later, in March 2020, the world learned the devastating news that he had died in captivity.
Bob Levinson’s life was defined by service to his country, his family, and his unwavering pursuit to do the right thing. Now we, his children, are reviving his long-dormant firm with a different mission and to honor his legacy.

The new R. A. Levinson and Associates will provide strategic consulting and advisory services to clients grounded in patriotism, principled leadership, and a commitment to “doing good.” Though we have pursued diverse careers - spanning Wall Street, Congress, the State Department, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, government contracting, strategic communications, and change management - we share a common purpose: to apply our collective experience in service of a mission greater than ourselves.
Bob Levinson exemplified integrity, bravery, and love of country - the same values that will guide our work every day. Through this revitalized firm, we aim to inspire organizations to do what’s right, strengthen the nation our father loved so deeply, and uphold the ideals of service, family, and integrity that defined his life.
